Former teacher and school administrator turned communication coach.

If I've learned one thing in this life, it's that communication is the responsibility of the communicator. If your message isn't getting across, you have to know how to change your communication to fit the needs of the people you are speaking with.


As a former teacher, school administrator, and military spouse, I have always been focused on understanding people, finding the best in them, and communicating effectively. This skill has been integral to my success throughout my career.


When we can meet others where they are, we increase our capacity to build trust and lead them.


Leadership is not positional, and there is nothing stronger than showing empathy in the workplace.


I believe that when you understand yourself and others, you can overcome any barrier to communication.


You do not need a position to lead. You don't need permission to lead. All you need is a heart of service and a desire to look around and ask, "How can I best be of service to others?"
